Material stock

Hello SAP Gurus,

In my case one componant material is not available in stock for batch but when we do batch determination system taking that batch though material is not availabel in stock please suggest what may be reason of same?

Dear,

Please check the setting of availability check transaction OPJJ depending on the setting in the Customizing of the availability check it will select the baches. RLT: replenishment lead time check box.

If you do the Check the availability for materials to be handled in batches without taking replenishment lead time into account it will give you the prper result.

What is availability check key in MRP3 view ?? Did you maintain any TRLT in MRP3 view ?? Check in Availability Check Control (OPJJ) details -Mark the check box in case if you do not consider materials availablity check with in RLT

Basically , if the items for which the delivery date falls within the replenishment lead time, but for which there is no inventory, are confirmed for delivery after the replenishment lead time. In the case of items for which the delivery date falls after the end of the replenishment lead time, the system assumes that everything can be confirmed

Dear check this go to COr2-- Material list - materialBatch Management--Display batch determination

in the Batch determination screen, click on the Log,

It shows the Batch determination Process,

1.First it reads the Batch Stcoks,

2.Batch determination without slection criteris

3.Batch avaialbility check is done

4.Batch sorting is done

If Batch stock is not there you should not get this Batch in the First place.

However if Stock is there, if it expired , then this batch will be selected as it is available in Unrestricted stcok and having Least SLED.(even though Expired).

Check and Revert.
