download ibase to excel

Hi,

Does anyone know how to download an ibase to excel ? I have tried the hierarchy option in the IB52 tcode but it does not let me open the entire BOM structure up. It shows me only the ibase header materials.

Hi,

Which version of SAP CRM are you using? If you are using CRM 6.0 or higher version then you can open the installed base from the Web UI and then using the standard functionality you can download it into an Excel File. These download functionality is part of the standard SAP feature which is delivered.

Else, you need to call a Report Program or a Transaction Code which will take the Installed Base Number as input and then will get all the information with the GET DETAILED Module which has been defined. And then you can download the files in the excel format in the desktop using the standard class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES which will help you to download.

we just have std ECC 6.0. I am trying to get an excel dump from IB52/IB53 transaction code. any ideas ?

Hi,

This is a forum for SAP CRM - Service Functionality. And the Transaction Codes that you have mentioned here are

IB52 - Installed Base Change

IB53 - Installed Base Display

This is a part of the SAP CRM Installed Base Functionality. And the Database Table concerning this is IBIB and IBIN.
