SMD Agent installation 7.11 on solution manager 7.o EHP1

Hi gurus please help me as i am new to SMD and AIX

i have 7.0 ehp1 solution manager which has been upgraded from its previous version

now i have to do the SMD & WILY INTERSCOPE installation on solution manage as well as on

Enterprise portal (netweaver 7.0 sps 14)

as i have seen on many forum that 7.0 ehp1 (sps 18) smd server get install by default when we install

solution manager

but in my case i have checked the following directory /USR/SAP/<DASID> that does not exsit on solution manager file system

so its mean the SMD server is not installed on solution manager

so do i have to first install the SMD server on solution manager then

2) wily enterprise manager on solution manager

3) SMD agent on Enterprise portal

is there any way by which we can see SMD server is working on AIX like windows

please clear this SMD server concept
