Unloading Points - How is it used?

Hi Gurus,

I would like to inquire on how the unloading points is used in a sales order. For example I set the unloading point in a customer 10001 to Thursday. Now I create a sales order using the said customer and then set my Requested Delivery Date to 10/27/2010 however that day is a wednesday and now considering the loading date and material availability date (let us say 5 days), so the date my material can be confirmed should be 11/04/2010. But this does not happen. Am I missing something?

Hi,

By means of unloading pnt, the good can be unlaoded at customers place on the specific days that are set in cusomer master-->unloading point. Pls try, it must happen in ur case as well.The system check the unloading point data if maintained, in customer master and use it in the order.

is the customer calendar maintained properly? in the unloading points tab?
