Workflow Assignment

Hi All,

I am a PP consultant and I have an issue related to workflow. its related to Engineering change management.

When a user re-assigns his work item to another user, it doesnt appear on the in business workpalce of the reciever. I want to know what could be the probable cause of the same.

Since i am not aware of Business Workflow, i would like to know where a user can see all the work items assigned to him(business workplace), or if there are transactions where it can be seen(all workflows assigned to user)

Hi Sangvir,

The workitem is forwarded (re-assigned) thru SAP Business Workplace inbox of the User (sender)

Alrite, you can try this thing:

Once you have forwarded the workitem , kindly check throug this FM SAP_WAPI_CREATE_WORKLIST or RH_LOCAL_INBOX_GET and pass user id to get workitems pending in his inbox.

Hi,

You can use transaction SWI5 for workload analysis and see which workitems are still to be processed.

If something went wrong with reassigning a workitem, check tr SWI2_ADM1, for workitems without agents, you can then uses that transaction to forward the workitem to someone else.

There is one more question, Which is the transaction where i can see all the workflow items assigned to me or a particular USER ?

Go to se16 table swwworgtask. Enter user name with us*..or the desired user name. It will give you all workitem id related to that user. Goto swi1 or swia input those id see all woritems.

Hi Nabheet ,

Thanks for the reply but Table SWWWORGTASK is not active in the Dictionary.

The user is assigned to work item in SWIA and the assignment takes place successfully, But when assigned user checks its inbox in SBWP - Business Worksplace, He is not able to see few workflows, all other workflows are visible.

Search with table sw*orgtask u will find. Regarding your second issue use tcode swu_obuf and then test again. In swia when you click on agent assignment an icon comes with the name showing in whose inbox it is. Are there multiple approver?

That was a useful reply, I used swu_obuf but still it doesnt work.

Actually the workitem is visible in outbox (workflow) of the sender. it shows the recipent name in the assigned users and the his SBWP inbox icon, but it doesnt appear in his inbox.

I have found OSS note "sapnote_0001308276" which is very similar to the solution provided by you. I think it should work but i am not sure.

@ All : if some one has implemented with note pls let me know.

Hi ,

You can select your workitem in transaction SWI1 and check the workflow log to find out where the actual problem is.
