SAP ABAP Gateway configuration for ODATA service setup

Hi All,

We have ODATA services created in ECC system and consumed at Portal through PO as Gateway.

We have got requirement from our ABAP Team if we can configure local Gateway in ECC Dev system and register services in ECC ABAP gateway only for Development system so that they can test/debug the service within ECC.

Right now when we are using PO gateway, they are using postman tool to test the services and looks like have limited testing capabilities and no debug possible.

Can you suggest -

1) Required steps which need to be carried out in ABAP system to use it as gateway and register ODATA service.

2) My assumption is that we need to have Java Gateway for ODATA testing, Can ABAP gateway be also used for ODATA services testing/consumption at portal.

3) Any other way/tool possible to test/debug ODATA services which is easy for ABAPers and provide all required functionalties.
