requirement type in planning table

Hi,

i got a situation where PIR of components should be consumed by dependent requirements only, what requirement type and what consumption indicator do i need to use in planning table for components.

ex: F-finished material, A&B components. PIRs of A,B for nov, dec are 10 and 20. planned orders got created for 10 and 20 quantities. when sales order for F of quantity 5 in nov should consume 5 from planned orders created for components, that means it should not create separate planned order of 5 quantity for B and C.

Here assume FERT has phantom assembly B which has components C and D. can i use planning strategy 59 for B and 70 for C and D. in that case does PIRs of B will be consumed by sales order or not?

I don't see any reason for above planning, even i never tried to that level mixing all strategies

If experimenting some thing new and trying to learn some thing new then i will surely appreciate you

Just an suggestion go with maintaining ( each ) individual strategies to see how it works

Based on your above posting if there is any strong business reason

then just wait for experts replies

Have you tried strategy 70 for A & B? Their PIR will be consumed by DepReq from F....
