Input Controls with Break Error on webi report

Former Member

Hi All,

I am facing a very strange problem with my Webi report. I have a few input controls in this report. There is only one report tab with a vertical table and few breaks. I am showing footer in few on those breaks. On selecting any of those input control on the report on infoview I am getting the error

"An internal error occurred while calling submitReport API (Error:ERR_WIS_30270)"

This error is only coming only on infoview report and not on webi Rich client. Also if I remove the breaks from the report this error is not coming.

So my question - Is there any limitation with using input controls and breaks together?

Hi Sunil,

Input controls are just embedding standard report filters in a more interactive user interface, so there should not be any incompatibility between input controls and breaks. Have you got in touch with customer support about this case?

Hope that helps,

David.

Hi David,

Input controls should work this way as per SAP Bo but its not

Thanks BOCP-BOE

I will try to convince my administrator to trace the problem.
