the user encountered the error in subject when launching cockpit.

the SQL server 2008 is a named instanced. I've configured another TCP Port for this named instance.

Installing integration component, B1event sender and DIproxy successfully.

in the integration framework, SLD, tested connection to DB and B1DI successfully also.

server is windows 2008 64 Bit.

I've installed J2SE 5.0 32 bit and 64 bit. during installation of integration, have selected the path correctly.

B1i user is assigned B1iINDIRECT_MSS and B1i licence and is a superuser. password is also set.

uninstall and reinstall integration components numerous times, still unable to resolved.

have went through troubleshooting guide on error 401 and doesn't resolve the issues.

Any expert can advise?

Hello Kok.

I have the same problem that you, seems that the username and password are never correct.

Please if you have already solved it, write here the solution.

Thanks a lot,

Hello Kok,

Does your username or password (B1iadmin and B1i users) have any special characters?

Cheers,

Lisa

i've also tried to give the same user password of b1iadmin to b1i user. still having the same error. I've manually changed the b1Server in the conectivity List to the named instance, and has tested connection successfully. what else could have gone wrong?

Hi Kok,

B1iP will deactivate the B1iadmin user for IPO steps after several time password failure.

Please check below:

1.Open Integration Framework from

window start=>all programs=>integration solution for SAP Business One.

2.Click Menu "Control Center" in integraiton framework.

3.Click Menu "Configuraiton" in Control Center

4.Click menu "User Admin IPO-Steps"

if the atcive status of B1iadmin is false, meaning B1iadmin user is deactivated. Please click the button "Toggle Activation" to activate it again.

5.Re-start B1 Integaration service and re-logon to B1.

Kind Regards, Yatsea

I've given both the indirect license and b1i license to b1i user and give superuser right, but still having same problem.

I've already tested with user B1i to log on to SAP b1 without any problem. I've triple check this user password also.

Try make B1i password same as B1iadmin.

Also give Super user access to B1i, and access to license B1iINDIRECT_MSS.

Restart Integration and event services.

Hi,

try to apply this solution I quoted from B1_88_InstallDashboards_EN.pdf file :

When you are getting an authorization error (401) please check if you entered the correct password for the Business One user u201EB1iu201C

■try to logon to SAP Business One with user u201EB1iu201C and this password

■If necessary apply new password

Kok Khuen Phan,

You could also try de-activating and then re-activating the Dashboard Business Scenario in the integration framework.
