Hi experts, I would like to know how you can register the installation number of the ERP and Technical Components in the Marketplace, so when you are adding systems in the landscape scenarios it retrieves those installation numbers, so far every system that I add, It brought me the installation number of Solution Manager.
Thanks,
Paul Hurtado

Hello,
You should have solman server and SLD in place inorder to register a system.
Go to > service marketplaceclick on
Help & support -->report a product error there you have option SYSTEM SEARCH give * in all the entries and hit search.
Now select the system for which you need to maintain data.
Next on the same path where you create OSS the last Colum SYSTEM DATA> CLICK ON SHOW ALL SYSTEM DATA> It will redirect to a page to maintain system data save the settings.
Then go to RZ70 in the newly installed system maintain the SLD data of your SLD server(solman) then trigger the back-ground job this will fetch the data. to schedule the background job click on (JOB) icon.
To push the data of java stack go to visual administrator
Under cluster>services>SLD Data supplier click on that-->on the RUNTIME TAB at the bottom there are tow settings {connections HTTP Settings and CIM client}. click on trigger data to SLD icon . it will send the data to SLD services.

JUDE.

Hi,
please be informed that if you do not have an active solution manager
installation. Requesting with software product Solution Manager is
only possible on a Solution Manager installation. Please refer to notes
attached
925690 Standard Ordering Procedures for SAP Software
628901 Order SAP Solution Manager or its installation numb
where you can see exactly the installations
and the information with which product you can request a permanent key.
Also you may want to get in touch with your local
contract department to get a Solution Manager Installation.
You can locate the correct contact organization via the following link:
http://service.sap.com/contracts which is for free.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
SH
