Hi

In the valluation variant screen, you have a push button where by you assign the val variant to Plant...

Did you use this option?

Yes I pushed the button and when I tried to assign a different valuation variant (which I already created) I get the error message mentioned above.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Krish

Hi

If you are looking valuation variant V01 - Then only assign V01 to a plant in that screen....

I think you are trying to assign V02 from the screen of V01

My understanding for 'Valuation Variant/Plant' button is that I can assign different valuation variants for different plants.

Is this a good understanding?

If it is not then I dont see a use of the button.

Hi,

the idea of this button is to have the same valuation variant specified differently in different plants. That means, a certain valuation variant can have different configurations for specific plants. A variant used in a plant where no special assignment was maintained, uses the generic valuation variant.

So this exactly offers the functionality required by you.
