Create target group while importing a file in SAP Marketing Cloud

Hi Experts - I happened to see in one of the SAP product demo presentations about an option to create target groups while uploading contacts through Import Data tile. But I don't see any such option when I look in our system - I only have upload CSV file and then look for uploaded entries in Contacts and Profile Dashboard.

Is creating a target group when importing the CSV file even an option?

Hi Janaki,

Yes, This option was/is part of "Contacts" old UI5 based app where while importing you do get an checkbox to add in Target Group. However, with the recent upgrade of contact page to new fiori based UI SAP has disabled this functionality.

To launch old UI you may need to add a tile called "Manage Contacts fka Contacts" from Personalize menu, if authorized to access.

Else you can launch the following URL which open the old UI.
