Hi All,
I want to do integration between SAP IBP and S/4 using CPI-DS. As per my understanding for this purpose, Staging Tables will have to be created in IBP (to interact with CPI-DS, both inbound and outbound).
I want to know steps to be followed for this, can someone help. Also what activities should be followed in IBP.
We are not looking at SDI for extracting data out of IBP.
Regards
Sanket.
With this approach, you are NOT using SDI. You make just re-use of the tales and reports that have originally been created for SDI in form of the IBP-AddOn
Meanwhile, this AddOn includes more than SDI integration and will be enhanced further
Based on those tables, there are full data flows created to integrate with the most important data that are needed for the SAPIBP1 planning area and especially the S&OP process.
You can use any other extractor as well, if you don't want to install the AddOn. There are a couple of predefined data flow of the "classical" type without the Addon. But new extractors are all based on the AddOn
And bye the way, you do NOT create any staging tables in IBP, they are automatically created when creating an object

Hi Sanket
the staging tables will be created with the installation of the AddOn, which was originally created for the SDI integration
That means, you have to execute (nearly) all steps on ECC or S/4HANA site that are relevant for SDI as well, plus some extra for CPI-DS.
In this blog there are some links that will guide you to the relevant steps, consider those starting "In ECC" plus the links in the amendments
Online help really describe it all, most relevant links are in the blog
Yours
Irmi
