function modules bbp_pd_sc_create and bbp_pd_sc_create_external

Dear Experts,

I try to use the function modules bbp_pd_sc_create and bbp_pd_sc_create_external

1) When I use the function module bbp_pd_sc_create I get an error message that the vendor I put is not intended for purch org.

It is suppose to be not true.

Someone have an idea what do I have to check?

2) When I use the function module bbp_pd_sc_create_external I get an error message that no account assignment exist.

Please advice.

What is Version of SRM? When 7.0 Go to SRM Administration, Open Vendor , Supplier Data, Check Supplier Purchasing Data}

Your vendor is not extended to concerned purchasing organization. If it is not the case, check OSS notes dealing with this error message.

No account assignment category or value is assigned in your organizational plan ( PPOSA_BBP ) for user used as import parameter USER_NAME or for user whom runs function module.

About section 2) - I checked my organizational plan and it seems to be O.K. with the account assingment category and value.

Do you have another ideas what also do I have to check?

Hello Eyal,

I advise you to debug BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL function module.

Error message you have got seems to be BBP_PD 008: it is called in form ACCOUNT_MAINTAIN_ALL (include LBBP_PDACCF0G ) for SRM 7.0 release.

I can't see where in bbp_pd_sc_create_external you can pass the account information ??

it is a nice suggestion but if you can't pass accounting info it's a quite useless function in my perspective, or do I miss something ?
