What can I do on a folder

Hi,

I've a folder tree and I'd like to disable certain options of the folder menu. For example, I want to remove the options "Send To..." and "Details" for several users or, for example, users with permissions read/write on that folder. Is it possible to disable it?

Another question I have is that, is it possible to protect a file so that it can only be overridden by its owner?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

    Yes, that is possible.

you need to create your own explorer and edit the layout set, UI Command Groups. You can also specify the roles to which these new settings should have this fucntionality.

under System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management- UserInterface.

    Regards
