Text ID in Solman Message is Empty

Hi All,

We need your help. We have just finished the EGI on Service Desk and we are currently facing an issue, when we try to process our message. The area to enter text, the text id drop-down box is empty. Our lecturer during the EGI has also not been able to give us a solution yet. Please let us know if you have faced a similar problem and how did you solve it. Without doing this we are unable to reply with a solution to the service desk message.

If you need more info, please let me know.

Thank you,

Regards,

Ramindra

Hi Ramindra,

sounds like an authorisation issue. Can you please check if you have the necessary rights for authorization object CRM_TXT_ID?

Christoph

Hi All,

I have found the solution. We raised an OSS Message with SAP. Note 1260091 needs to be added. In this note, structure COMT_TEXT_PD_AUT is added with the following fields:

Component Component Type

AUTHORITY_CREATE XFELD

AUTHORITY_CHANGE XFELD

AUTHORITY_DISPLAY XFELD

(Please refer to the note for the proper component type for the fields, it defers according to SAP Releases).

The fields have to be changed to be at the end of the structure ( this means the last 3 fields of the structure)

Once we did this it worked fine and we were able to see the text types.

Thanks,

Regards,

Ramindra

Hi Christoph,

This object has already been assigned under the role that have been added to the user we are using. When we search for this object, it shows us that this role has * objects.

It is still empty.

Please help.

Hi,

Please kindly check on this notes

947127 CRMD_ORDER: Message texts are not saved

953666 Authorization check for Service Desk texts

Subsequently rerun a thorough check on your transaction type SLFN, the action profile within has to correspond correctly.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
