What can I do to get around this?
While doing the Install Java Central Instance on the Quality Assurance node of our three tier landscape I am getting the following error.
An error occurred while processing option Dual-Stack Split > MS SQL Server > Keep Database > High-Availability System > Install Java Central Instance( Last error reported by the step: Creating node $(DIR_TRANS) with type DIRECTORY failed. Original exception text was: syslib.filesystem.nodeCreationFailed: Unable to create node \\sapmsbwd\sapmnt\ with type DIRECTORY: can't create parent node...). You can now:
When sapinst asked me to provide the "Host with Transport Directory" I changed from the default value of the local host to sapmsbwd which is the development server that also acts as the Transport Domain Controller for this landscape. I suspect this error might be because the directory already exists as part of the Abap transport landscape and cannot be created..
Any Assistance would be most appreciated.
