Purchase order delivery date

Hello All,

Scenario here is,

User has created a sales order for a material and system is automatically generating PR (this is third party drop ship purchase order). Planned delivery time is not maintained for a material. Planned delivery time for vendor is 14 days.

Delivery date at schedule line on sales order is 1-Nov-2010. (e.g. Sales order is created 18-Oct-2010)

PR is converted to PO, while creating PO system gives warning that "Realistic delivery date is 1-nov-2010, by default system suggests delivery date of 18-Oct-2010 (today's date). If user presses "enter" and save the PO with 18-Oct-2010 as delivery date then the

Schedule line delivery date sales order for that item changes to 18-Oct-2010 from 1-Nov-2010.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thanks & regards.

Sanjay

    Hi ,

Based on the Sales order Schedule line delivery date only system created PO in Third Party process.

Even though you have option to do changes in delivery date in PO.

As per the standard business functionality relevant schedule line delivery date only PO will create.

    Thanks,

    Thiru

    Hi,

You can manually change the Delivery Date in Purchase order. Please maintain 01-NOV-2010 if order takes 14Days.

    Regards,

    Hari Krishna
