One Query for several sheets in one work book

Dear Experts,

I have a queston for work book of BW 3.0.

We want to use one query A for a work book which contains several sheets.

For these sheets, they used the same query: A.

But for each sheet, it has differnet condition.

For sheets 1: characteristic B, its value is 1

For sheets 2: characteristic B, its value is 0.

Is it possible for us to achieve this target via only using one query?

Hi Alex,

This is possible.

You just need to have several data providers having the same query assigned.

The detailed steps are:

1. Enter design mode by the BEx Analyzer tool bar (I assume you are using BEx Analyzer 7.x)

2. Create another Excel sheet

3. Insert an analysis grid, right click and choose "properties".

4. Create another data provider, assign this query to it.

5. Exit design mode.

Now you should have the same query display on two sheets.

You can maintain the condition (Right click -> Query Properties -> Conditions) on each sheet separately.

You can also do other nagivation separately for the two sheets.
