ODP not enabled for dynamic funding datasources like 0CRM_FM_DF_DFP_ATTR

am unable to activate ODP for dynamic data sources like 0CRM_FM_DF_DFP_ATTR in CRM system even after implementing note 2232584/ executing program BS_ANLY_DS_RELEASE_ODP . FYI many other datasouces are ODP enabled after implementing this note but not dynamic funding datasources.

Can you help me with Dynamic Funding setup in sap Bw as I am unable to find any standard content delivered for it.. Please help me with datasources for extracting data and other configuration need to be maintained or just share the content.

Hi Kishore,

I checked and the data source you mentioned uses a standard extractor FuMo SMOX3_GET_DATA. Many other data sources that uses this extractor are already released for ODP. Therefore my assumption is that it is technically possible to use this extractor for ODP-SAPI extraction.

Two ways to tget the data source exposed for ODP replication:

1) Unofficially you could add a table entry in table ROOSATTR for the data sources

OLTPSOURCE = 0CRM_FM_DF_DFP_ATTR and field EXPOSE_EXTERNAL ='X'

After this you can replicate the data source in the BW system from your ODP-SAPI connected system.

2) To get it officially released, open an customer incident (I believe this you have already done).

It can take some time as the SAP Note 2232584 gets only updated quarterly, so in the meantime SAP might ask you to go with option 1 mentioned above 😉
