Can Status Profile be set selectively for a particular company?

The sales document type is OR. It is used by more than 3 company.

Now, 1 of the company wanted to introduce a SO release as per PO release strategy.

I had managed to cofigure and tested it out successfully.

I had a problem.

This is only required by 1 of the company.

Is there anywhere I could set the status check ONLY for 1 company?

Thanks

Bye

The only solutions for this is to create separate document type for that company code. Status profile can only be assigned to document type or item category.

Any Userexit which I can used to control by Sales Organization?

Hi Colin,

I can suggest some work arround. Define status as you required and then assign authorization code to that status and maintain that authorization in specific user of company code. Make sure that user next status does not depend on newly defined status otherwise it will impact other company codes also

Hi,

Can you explained a little bit in details what do you mean by "Make sure that user next status does not depend on newly defined status otherwise it will impact other company codes also"?

Even though I withdraw object B_USERSTAT from the user, the other company still have to step through the process inorder to get the DO created.

I was wondering if there is a way that is transparent to the non-affecting User.
