All CR reports are cached (if caching is activated) no matter which driver is used

    (2) Universe cache maintainence is much better when compared to crystal reports

There is no such thing as universe cache. WebI reports can also be cached

    (3) is cache will be maintained in crystals with respoective to all avaialable drivers?

    Yes. See my first answer.

    • Yes. If the CR cache is activated the reports will be cached. Please note that we are talking about report and NOT data caching here. If a given user reruns the report (before it expires in the cache) with the same set of parameter values then the report is fteched form the cache.

Data caching is done on the BW server. There is a so-called MDX cache that is active when data is fetched using MDX queries.
