1099MISC - S_P00_07000134 Adobe Forms - Suppress Background Image

Hello,

We have been using Adobe forms for printing 1099-MISC for the past couple of years, however, this year we would like to use the pre-printed forms for the first time. SAP states in note 1668798 that you should suppress the background image in order to use pre-printed forms, however, there is no such button in the print preview. I found that this button is only available when using smartforms.

Has anyone used pre-printed forms with Adobe and successfully suppressed the background image?

I found this old thread (https://archive.sap.com/discussions/message/15715197#15715197) that says they used note 2119847 but the changes in that note are already in our system and we still cannot suppress the background image when using Adobe forms.

I am also running into the same issue with our system. This is the 1st year we are trying to utilize SAP instead of a 3rd party. We are updated to 2016 and I can print forms as needed. Just need to be able to suppress the image so the client can print on the special RED inked pre-printed IRS form A.

Hi Casey,

Just as an FYI, I did open an OSS message to SAP regarding the inability to suppress the background image on Adobe forms and they admitted they were aware of it but there were no plans to fix it at this point.
