Solution manager installation

Hi,

What version of solution manager should we install with ECC 6.0 ?

Should it be:

Release 7.0 EHP 1

Release 7.0

Release 3.2

Release 3.1

Please help.

Is this the fresh installation of solution Manager you are planning to install with already installed ECC6.0 version in your landscape if so always go with latest version of Release 7.0 EHP 1

As I said before please go for the EHP1 following that link , in genral as a rule of thumb

for Solution Manager we say that we should always install the latest version with the latest SP stack.

Dear Jainam,

If possible, for ERP 6.0 you should go to at least Support Package level 17 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0., though SP15 and up is supported.

So you can use Solution Manager SP 15 and above, but SAP recomemnds Solution Manager 7.0 SP17 or Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 and above, but not Solution Manager 3.2 or 3.1.

If you are installing EHP4, then the SAP ECC server always requires EHP1 for Netweaver.
