Hi,
We have overtime hours recorded in 2010.
There are different two different calculation rates for overtime.
How to handle that in payroll for amount calculation
Please help.
Thanks
Jyothi
Hi,
You have different options. It depends in what you specifically need. I supposed you are using the number/unit field. You may use table v_512w_b for the valuation in payroll, but if you are using the same wagetype for the two different rates you can make a PCR. Please let us know a little bit more.
Are you using same wagetype for both rates? If that is so, what is the condition?
Hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Edoardo

Hi,
The statement Wage type field is used when you don´t want your main wage type to appear on your pay slip. For example, I have use it for the payment of overtime hours that shouldn´t be pay as an regular overtime hours. For legal regulations there is a maximun amount of overtime hours that an employee is able to work, but sometimes that amount is not enough and the employee works more hours. The issue is that in the payslip it can´t appear as an overtime hour, so although the payroll user is putting in IT2010 a wage type for overtime in the pay slip it would appear a different wage type, for example, a Production Bonus.
In your case, as you are using different wage type for each rate (XXXX and YYYY) you can put in this field for both cases another wage type (ZZZZ) and in the salary statement no matter wich wage type you insert in IT2010 (XXXX or YYYY), the employee will see ZZZZ.
Depending on what you need you may give different use to this field, but the main idea is to show something differente in the salary statement.
Hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Edoardo

Hi,
It depends. For example, in my country version a I would copy the wage types from the M1xx (these are for overtimes). If I don´t want these wage types to be on the remuneration statement I would just change the evaluation class and create another wage types that would be on the statement.
