some of the text field is pulling in the key rather than text

Hi,

I executed the report few rows are where some of the text field is pulling in the key rather than text.

report is executed useing the variant:

Please suggest what may be reason of this??

    Select the object in the query designer and in the Properties -> Display -> set DISPLAY AS as Text.

    check master data text for that infoObject.

    HI Vivek,

    Check the master data text exist for that selection(for those records for which text is not displayed) that you are looking for or not? if at all the text is not maintained in the master data object you will not get the text for that selections in the report.

    Try to maintain the text in the info object so that the text will be displayed in the report output.

    Hi,

    Another remote reason can be that you are maintaining texts in different fields like short/medium/long and you have selected text which by default reads from one of them (BEx property of Info Obj).
