Hello experts,
I tried to use SU10 in our CUA-system to add a system to multiple users. According to SU10 protocol it worked. When I look at the users in SU01 it also seems to have worked, the system is there. But the CUA does not create the necessary USERCLONE-IDOCs. Why is that and is there any way to fix this? I have some big user changes coming up next week and I don't want to have to change about 500 users via SU01...
Thanks and regards
Mario

Hi Mario,
You have added just system to user in CUA, in this case CUA will not generate any IDOCS.
You should have add any role to user for child system in CUA system then only it will create IDOC.
Dont worry about mass changes, you can test CUA using some otherway like validity changes or parameter changes.
Thanks

Hi Mohan,
thanks for your quick answer, but I'm afraid I just forgot to mention one detail. We have our CUA configuration in SCUM so the roles are administrated locally in the CUA subsystems. This way at least in SU01 it does work when we simply add a system to a user. To my understanding it should work the same way when using SU10, shouldn't it?

Hello Mohan,
You have added just system to user in CUA, in this case CUA will not generate any IDOCS.
-->this is not correct!
Adding a system assignement means, that the user has to be created in the child. So an idoc of type 'USER' is created and sent to the child!

Hi Bernhard,
our CUA runs on a SAP_BASIS 700 SP 22, the note is not relevant, sorry.
I checked 1306019 too, but it doesn't seem to fit either since there are no IDOC-errors, but no IDOCs at all, also we have no systems with releases <7.00

Hi Mario,
Do you get IDOCS generated when you do the following?
1. Go into newly created user in CUA master in Edit/Change mode
2. Save and exit (without making any changes)
