Hi Gurus,
We have some issue in controlling.Actually we are using the transaction KKBC_HOE(analyse summarisation object for actual/plan comparision)which will dispaly the cost elements, pan quantity, actual quantiy, total target costs, total actual costs, variance.
Here we have one question is the total variance between total target costs and total actual costs is equal to the sum of the input price variance, input quantity variance, resource usage variance.but here the difference is more than 100,000 in foreign currency.how can i check with these cost elements, how many production orders having these type of problem.
Thanks in advance
JANA
Hi GURUS,
Thanks for your eply.
How can i find out the actual debit and actual credit amounts to match with sum of all variance categories.
Thanks in advance
Jana

Hi Jana
The difference between Total target cost and total actual cost is not variance....
The difference between Total actual Debit and Total actual credit is Variance... Ideally, Actual credit and target cost should be same, but they are never same due to some rounding differences (Programmed that way)
however, if the difference is very large between target cost and Actual credit
OR
If the difference between Actual Debit - Actual Credit is not matching with All categories of variances
- Then you should create an OSS messaage and give a sample case to SAP
But, 1st of all ensure that you are summing up all categories of variances and none is missed out... Execute Variance calculation for one such production order and see the output.. You can plug in all categories of variances in the output display
