Asset sale- integration with SD

Hi,

I want to use the Asset sale functionality.

Can it be integrated with SD module ? if yes, what are the integration steps ?

Like we can purchase the Assets through MM module, i guess we should be able to Sell the assets through SD module.

Is there any SAP standard functionality with SD integration (or ) any User exits are availble ?

Answer to your question is both Yes and No

To retire or sell any asset - You have to use F-92... Without this, the asset wont get impacted in the asset register

When you do F-92, it debits your customer and also you can account for all taxes...

However, you may want to print the invoice as your customer would require a tax invoice incase he is paying tax.. For this, you can do a proforma invoice from SD and take a print of it.

You may sell without customer from Asset module (i.e. Scrapping with revenue), in that case your invoice wont be proforma invoice, but a normal invoice
