material in Quality Inspection

Hi

100 quantity of material "A" is showing in Quality Inspection in MMBE. my concern is how this quanity is moved in Quality Inspection from Un-Restricted Use .

we are not using QM.

We do GR good receipt ( 101 ) from production. Process Order Confirmation \ Techo with Cor6n. use Process Order.

Normally when ever we post GR 101 , stock shows in Un-Restricted use.

I know we can move this quanity from Quality inspection to UnRestricted use in MB1B , movment type 321. Is this right.

thanks

Thomas

hi james,

there are only 2 possiblities for a GR from production order,

1) using auto GR in confirmation

2) using MIGO/MB31.

Since u cannot see any movement for 322 it means stock was posted to QI directly.

if u r using the first option then check the stock type in the Goods reciept tab in the process order it has to be QI.

in case of the second option the stock type may be changed while posting the Material doc, which can be checked in MIGO or MB03.

Hi,

I think while doing the GR for the matraial A, you have picked up the Stock type: Quality Inspection, hence the material goes into the quality area, so just check your GR for the same qty.

Check and revert.

Thanks,

Hrishi

MB51 is the only way to find the respective material document, for all goods movement material document will be generated,

Excute again IN MB51 for the materail with out goods movement,

Sort the ascending order for the movement type, U can find the movement type and user

Hi Sundaresan . E. V

i have the same understanding.

i already did the same as you advised. surprisinging there is nothing in mb51.

what are the possiblitites of putting stock in quality inspection. we are using Process Orders , then confirmations is of total quanity say 1000 unit . and Goods receipt 101 ( as and when received ) say 10 entries of 100 qty.

how stock is moved in Quality inspection.

thanks.

Check in MB51 with special stock indicator Q for the material U can find the material document

double click the material document and go to doc info tab, U can find the transaction used and user name

Some one as change manually the stock type as quality stock while Goods movement

IF the material is in Quality Stock means It should have special stock indicator Q in movement type for that material.

RUn a MB51 with giving input material and special stock indicator Q once

Dear James,

Go to SE11 or SE16 enter the table MSEG

IN the stock type ( field name- INSMK0

Sort out in Descending order

You can find the X indicator related to the quality stock

YOU can find the respective document

In MIGO, You can display the document & you can find the t.code and user name in Doc info tab.

In MB51 stock type field is not there Sorry for that
