The product A has an effective-out date March 1st and it will be replaced for product B. The lot size of each production order is 1000 units. There are only 8600 units of product A (part to be discontinued).
When MRP runs, the stock of the part to be discontinued has completely been used up before the effective out date. Due to the lot size, the result is a production order with both materials: 600 units of product A and 400 units of product B; and the exception message number 57 appears (partial deviation due to discontinued part indicator)
¿Is there any way to avoid mixing materials in the same production order when MRP is run?
Dear Mariana,
Have you received any feedback or solved the issue? I am having the same issue and not finding the solution for the moment.
