Output Types Determination for Billing Document

Hi,

My issue with billing document is that the output types are displayed even if there is still error on accounting interface. The expected is no output types should be generated in GOTO > HEADER > OUTPUT if there's still error with the billing document.

I want to know how the output types are determined. I have asked help from SAP. Their suggestion is to check with the dispatch time. They said that the dispatch time must be 3 so that the output is not processed when saving the document or creation. We tried that scenario and configured the output types, however, the issue still exists.

I have also checked with VV32 given the output types. The only configuration I found does not relate with the issue.

I appreciate your response and assistance.

Thanks a lot!

VV32 is a functional transaction. There is no check regarding to your issue on this transaction.

I suggest checking and changing configuration for your access sequence in IMG Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Output Control > Output Determination > Output Determination Using the Condition Technique > Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents > Maintain Access Sequences

The requirement for your access table must be 62 BillDoc:ReleasePost..

Is a little bit complicated but is a standard problem and this is the standard solution.

    Hi,

Marion has given you the right solution.

The routine should be assigned either to the output type in the output procedure for hte invoice or at the access sequence level. If this acc seq is used by some other output type also, but you want to validate this behaviour for this output type only, then it is suggested to have this routine assigned to output in the output procedure. Else you can put it in the access sequence.

This will only prevent the output if no posting is done. For any other issue, the output will still be triggered. If you have multiple conditions to be satisfied for triggering an output type, you have to create a Z routine like the routine 62 and then l ink the routine to the output type.
