Error While Creating Subcontracting PO ( Error no: 154)

Hi Guru's

I cant able to create Subcontracting PO - Its throws an error Not possible to determine any components

The BOM is not exploding - If i map the component manually its working fine.

For your reference :

• I have created BOM and checked the usage ( 1 -Production )+ status is active

• Checked the dates - current date to 31.12.9999

• CS03 - item view - Explosion type is blank

Guide me to solve this issue .

Please check the following things :

1. In Material master MRP4 view - Field "Individual/Coll" should have value "2" or "Blank" & In BOM (Transaction code CS03) item detail section - Field "Explosion Type" should have value "LB" ("Individual/Coll" should have value "2" or "Blank") .

2. PIR should have PIR Info category "3" , i.e., Subcontracting PIR must available for header material which we receive back from subcontractor.

3. Special Procurement Key must be "30" in material master MRP2 View.

4. Purchasing Item Category must be "L" and production BOM must be maintained, if you want to explode BOM in PO.

5. Please check BOM valid period is effective from in Tcode cs03

6. Please check your PO date against the valid date of the BOM valid period.

Thanks a lot.

I do tried with all settings - but i cant able explode bom.

Finally i changed the validity date to previous date of document - now the bom is exploding .

Please review the following SAP Notes:

SAP Note No. 13023

For BOM selection using the the production version, note 39032

should be observed if the production version is created by a

customer report instead of using SAP standard methods.

SAP Note No. 39032

Check whether the production versions in table MKAL are correct:

Call transaction SE16 for table MKAL.

Select the production version to be checked.

Field MKAL-STLAL (alternative BOM) may not contain any one-digit numeri

entries, such as '1 ' or ' 1'.

These entries must be created with leading zeros in the database, for

example, '01'.
