Setting up environment for business objects integration with SAP BI

1.i installed Crystal reports 2008

2.Download the all 5 exe related to Business objects Edge 3.1.Yet to install

3.SAP business object integration kit from SAP market place .Yet to install

4.Question is do i need to install Tomcat webserver ? if yes then why, then from we should download and which version.

Also how install Tomcat webserver.

i understand after i can install tomcat webser, then only i should integration kit.

Please help me in understanding this and resolving..

    Hi,

    the BusinessObjects Edge server installation does come with TomCat included - no need for a separate download of TomCat

    As suggested,

    No need to install Tomcat separately, BO will by default install it.

    Keep in mind that, Integration Kit installation should be the last installation. As you already Installed CR2008, now start installing BO Edge, once you successful. Then Start installing Integration kit.

    Now your set up is perfect.
