screen control for MM01&MM02

In material master purchasing view, I want to make one option input field become mandatory input, like valid date now it is option input and I want to make it as mandatory.

Could you give me any solution for it, thanks.

    Hi,

    Please follow the step and make the mandotory fields in material master.

    1: First get the Table name & Field name in required field.

    2:SPRO>>SAP IMG>>Logistics u2013 General>>Material Master>>Field Selection>>Assign Fields to Field Selection Groups>>

    3: Click Fields name icon and find put there Table name and Field name

    4:Then select the Field name line and click Overview icon near by Change icon

    5:There Fields Attribute (Retails Only) (Select 1 default for all material categories)

    6:Then go SPRO>>SAP IMG>>Logistics u2013 General>>Material Master>>Field Selection>>Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens

    7:Double click on Field reference new window will be appear there you can make setting (Required Fields)

    and save it then it will be work fine.

    Hi,

    Follow the steps:

    1.Just click the Valid from TAB ,(Which you want to be Required entry )and get the field name as MARC-MMSTD

    2. Use T.Code: OMSR and enter that field name and get Selection Group 51

    3.1. Use t.Code: OMS2 and click your material type and in next screen check Field reference ( you have assigned for material type){{ ( example :;For ROH material type the Field reference is ROH)

    3.2. Use T.code:OMS9,double Click your Field Reference and select field selection Group 51, & select round box of Required entry & save
