Material movement from storage location to storage type from blocked stock

Dear SAP Gurus,

For the material X which is in blocked status for the plant A and storage location RETN.

Now the user wants to move this blocked stock to plant A, WH A and storage type A without storage location. If he want to execute transaction MB1B or create Transfer order its asking for receiving storage location which not avaliable as the user refering to storage type.

So how to move the block stock from the plant A and storage location RETN to plant A, WH A and storage type A within the block stock. Kindly advise

    If the user is just concerned about storage type, then the only pre requisite required is , WM must be active for the current storage location and warehouse number (under which the storage type exist) must be assigned to this storage location. If this exist, then just using the LT10 tcode it could be moved to any desired storage type.

    If both are different storage locations, then you must first move between the storage location(MB1B) and then use the storage type pertaining to that warehouse using LT10.

      Thanks very much for the reply.

      As mentioned by you, WH management is active and the transfer posting is within the same plant. But at present the stock is in blocked stock under storage location RETN. The user want to move the stock from RETN storage location to storage type 015 under warehouse A in same plant. At present the data is as follows:

      STock under block: Plant A, Material A, storage location RETN and batch A and the user wants to move this block stock to

      Plant A, material A, WH A and storage type 015 and there in no mention about storage location to receive the block stock and then transfer to storage type 015 through LT10.

      Kindly guide. if any config is required or is this process correct or if not how do we clear the block stock.
