MII migration error minor.major

Former Member

Hi,

I am trying to migrate from 11.5 to 12.1.

Our Netweaver/basis people claim they installed the correct version of the migrate program.

When I run the migrate script I get the following error.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.unsupportedclassversionError: com/sap/xmii/migrate/main <unsupported major.minor version 49.0 >

To me this looks like they installed the 12.0 instead of the 12.1 version.

Any comments, or help on how to fix it?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Please find the below link to get upgrade guides. These will surely help it out.

Located at https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/instguides -> SAP xApps -> SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence

Hope this is useful.

I have the guides, they give me nothing on the error or required level of Java needed to run the tool.

Anybody has the required Java level (or that they successfull ran the migrate?)

we are running 1.4.2_24 as per SAP for netweaver and MII.

If we need to upgrade I need to write a case for our basis people that control the server.

Our Basis people upgraded to 1.5.2_23 I believe, and the migration worked without any errors.
