Dear Experts,
Maerial BOM MATERIAL TYPE STRATEGY GROUP PLANNING STRATEGY
Req-DM Req-CU
3. TF180TK fert 20 KE make-to-order
2. TH300TK halb 20 KE make-to-order
1. TA300TK roh 10 LSF KSL make-to-stock
As listed above material in line no.1 is required to produce 2 and
2 is required to produce 3.
I have open open sales orders for material TF180TK(fert).
What settings do I need to effect, to make the System consider Stocks & Open Purchase Orders for material TA300TK (roh) which are not allocated to these Sales Orders , when MRP run is carried out at plant level using MD01?
Regards
Dear Bisolaania,
Maintain a Individual/collective requirement as 2 - collective requirement for Material TA300TK in MRP 4 view
NO need to maintain a planing strategy for HALB and ROH for your requirement.
Maintain a planning strategy 20 and Maintain a Individual/collective requirement as 1 - Individual requirement for TF180TK, while creating check in Va01/Va02 In procurement tab, the requirement type is KE or not
Maintain Individual/collective requirement as 1 - Individual requirement for material TH300TK
Maintain a Individual/collective requirement as 2 - collective requirement for Material TA300TK in MRP 4 view( This setting allow the material to consider stock and PO for the sale order requirement)
and run the MRP with planning mode- 3 delete and recreate in MD01 and then Check

bisolaaina,
the reason the Made to order settings on FERT material is carried over to lower subassembly halb & raw material is that your MRP4 view has Individual/coll = blank or 1 (individual) for your material HALB & ROH.
Change this setting Individual/coll = 2 (collective). System will then consider individual requirements of FERT material collectively and use existing stocks & purchase orders.
Once you made changes in material master you will have to recreate sale orders as existing sale orders will not read updated material changes.
I am sure this will help resolve your issue.
Thanks,
Ram
