RDR12 (and other xxx12) tables EMPTY in upgraded 8.8 database

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the following problem: I upgraded a database from 2007A SP00 PL42 to 8.8 PL 15

(upgrading the entire environment, SBO_Common included) and all xxx12 tables are empty.

I was expecting to find in these tables the addresses of the original doc recoded,

i.e. splitted in Street, Zipcode, City etc both for Shipping and Billing address.

If I use a 8.8 native Demo database, xxx12 tables have records,

while migrating a demo database (same data) from 2007A to 8.8 I have o records.

Did anyboby experienced the same problem ?

thanks for your suggestions.

regards,

francesca

    Francesca,

I don't think it is expected to convert the Ship To's and Bill To's to the format in RDR12. Only newly added Sales Order in SAP 8.8 will have this field populated.

Have you seen any SAP Documentation that states that when you upgrade from SAP 2007 to SAP 8.8 that these fields shall be automatically converted? If yes, you could raise a support ticket with SAP.

      Hi Krishnan,

no, I didn't find any SAP doc regarding the conversion: I assumed it was due, otherwise we'll have the new docs with the address coded in the new way and the old ones without it !

It doesn't seem very coherent to me!

Anyway I'll try to understand if mine was only a mere hope! 😊 I begin to suspect so ...

thanks a lot for your reply.

    Hi Francesca.........

SAP has recommended upgradation must be done from 2005B or 2007B or 2007A of Any Patch to SAP8.8 PL10 first and if required then from SAP 8.8 PL10 to higher.

I also encountered the same problem. Then I refer the notes released by SAP for upgradation and followed and now my Patch is working Cooool.........

I suggest you try the same......

    Regards,

    Rahul
