Hi All,
If there are exisitng BO users using BO tools where source Darawarehouse in Non-SAP source (Teradata) .
After the SAP-BOBJ integration, we will have both SAP-Users and Non-SAP users using BO tools.
My question is ...
How will both these users will login to BO portal.
I know that SAP users will log-in using SAP authentication and Non-SAP users will continue to use authentication mode as: Enterprise.
Pls explain how is this possible. Any settings need to made for both the authentications to work parallely.

Anil,
You're correct.
Log-in to CMC: (as Admin)
Go to:
Authentication
here you can see : Enterprise, AD, NT , LDAP & SAP.
Map the Users based on their environment. After doing this, you can see how they are differed.
Thank You!!

Users can login with SAP Authentication and Enterprise at the same time. It's standard functionality. You could also login as a SAP user and report off Teradata. Hope this helps.

Correct Anil.
One more just to update you.
When you opt for SAP authentication, in Authentication @ CMC.
You can see Roles tab, there Check Automatically Import Users and Force User Synchronization.
Automatically import users - This checkbox allows you to enable the import of SAP users that are assigned to the roles that have been imported for the SAP entitlement system.
Force User Syncronisation: If you enable this option, each update in the Role import tab will also result in a syncronisation of the assigned SAP users with the corresponding user accounts on you SAP BOE system.
Check OSS note for scheduling this.
Hope it helps you a lot.
Thank You!!

One thing - to comment on what BOCP-BOE added. You may not want to use those options. Those options are for certain scenarios only so since you haven't mentioned specifics about your situation, I would read up on the options to determine if they are suitable for your environment.
Have a look at this document and it should answer most if not all of your questions. Good luck!
