Masthead Welcome Area

Hi Experts,

I have created custom Masthead from standard sap masthead par file and deployed in portal server. In Content Admin I have created an iView from deployed par and assign this iView to my custom Framework.

In portal masthead welcome area u201CWELCOME_CLAUSEu201D is displayed instead of Welcome <First Name>

<Last Name>

Thanks in advanced.

Regards,

Pravin

    I would guess that perhaps you didn't include the localization bundles in your copy of the standard portal component. I have seen this before where for whatever reason those files are not copied automatically. The localization files usually end with something like _en.properties or _de etc... and they are used to manage multi-language support.

    My advice.. compare the two projects and make sure the localization files are in your deployed PAR file.

    BRgds,

    Simon

    Pravin,

    Check your par file for the HeaderiView.jsp and in headeriview_nls.properties , if your "WELCOME_TEXT=Welcome" or not.

    Good Luck!
