Asset value should scrap before completion of Life

I have created one Asset Master with 15 years of life. The asset Value is 15,00,000/-. From last 12 years i have run the deprectiatin. Now i am looking to scrap this asset for remaining 3 years life.

When i scrap this asset, what about the asset value and scrap value.

For this run, what required for the configuration and execution?

Hi,

scrap value ist a part of an asset's value that is not depreciated.

You can use one of these methods for scrap value (memo value):

- Deduct the scrap value from the base depreciation value before the start of depreciation calculation.

- Define the scrap value as a fixed value at which depreciation is stopped (cutoff value).

You define the scrap value either as a set amount or as a percentage of APC (acquisition and production costs).

(You woll find this settings if you double click on depr. area in AS03)
