Storage type search sequence in GR for putaway in EWM

Hi Gurus,

I am getting the below error message when i tried to create the Warehouse Task with reference to Warehouse request.

System is not allowing to create the Warehouse task.Please help me on this issue.

"Storage type search with template: No entry f. Item 10 found (details 1)"

I am also faced the same problem as "Storage type search with template: No entry f. item 10 found (details 1)"

Solution:

Which ever the values you have maintained in "Specify Storage Type Search Sequence for Putaway" step;  to these values you have to Check the applicable check- box's in "Optimize Access Strategy for Storage Type Search: Putaway" with respect to your warehouse.

SCM Menu path: SPRO-->Extended Warehouse Management-->Goods Receipt Process-->Strategies-->Storage Type Search-->Specify Storage Type Search Sequence for Putaway

Hi Govind,

1)  For this u need to check ur putaway search sequence determination for your product and check your warehouse process type definition weather its allows to create a WT with reference to a WR.

2)  Check the Message log  while creating the WT.

3) Check the final bin ,does it have activity of PTWY or not.

Hello,

Putaway control indicator at master data is used for storage control or cross docking, i don't think it is related to this situation. If you maintained it, you must know what you are doing. It is not used in standard processes.

Can you give the message number? Maybe we can understand the function's behaviour.

Hi,

Can you check which combination you are using in following customization for your warehouse number.

SPRO -> EWM -> Goods Receipt Process -> Strategies -> Storage Type Search -> Optimize Access Strategy for Storage Type Search: Putaway

Please check if it is activated for putaway strategy, also if your automatic putaway is based on process type then check process type also.

Hi,

You need to set up the putaway strategy and storage type search sequence under the following path:

Extended Warehouse Management>Goods Receipt Process>Strategies-->Storage Type Search.

Also, you need to update the material master with Putaway Control Indicator.
