Regenerate LIS structures

Hello

Can you please let me know if any of you have worked on regenerating LIS structures (S031..S039). Am going through sap note#79083 but any inputs from the guys who did this already will be a great help.

Situation is MC.9 values are not in synch with MB51 values. Earliest response appreciated and will be rewarded accordingly.

Thanks!

Regards

Srinivas.

    Hi,

honestly, the note is pretty clear.... but it is true, you have to practice a bit to get familiar with it.

Major steps for setup: (postings are allowed until step 6):

    1) User Parameter MCR set to X (transaction SU01)

(allows selection of versions other than 000 during analyses)

    (e.g., &(a or &(1 or &(2 ....)

    2) RMCSISCP - copy version 000 to XXX , or anything obviously different from other versions (this step is not required,

but protects actual data from accidentally being overwritten by creating a backup version XXX)

    3) RMCSISCP - initialize info structures in version &(1

    4) RMCBNEUA - goods movements into structures S031, S033

-This step can be done in increments that you choose

    5) RMCBNERP accounting documents - similar to RMCBNEUA

!!! Stop postings until the remaining steps are complete !!!

    6) RMCBNEUA and RMCBNERP for the current and previous periods

    7) RMCBNEUB - current stock data into structures S032

    8) Analyze results; if correct, proceed; if not, repeat 3, 4, & 5.

    9) RMCSISCP - initialize version 000

    10) RMCSISCP copy &(1 data into version 000; delete version XXX

    11) Remove Parameter MCR (selection of actual data in analyses)

anyway, usually the data in S032 (current stock) is already corrupted, therefore it is enough to do the steps:

      1. RMCBNEUB into a new version like '&(1'

      2. in SE16 compare the result with MBEW

      3. transaction OLIX (report RMCSISCP) delete version '000'

      4. copy version '&(1' data into version 000 with RMCSISCP (trx OLIX)

      5. you can delete the version '&(1' with RMCSISCP (trx OLIX)

additionally you might have run RMCBDATE to rebuild the date fields (like last GI, last GR...) but the date fields will be updated automaticxally during the next goods movement posting.

      NOTE:

please keep in mind that system needs approx 1hour to rebuild 100.000 document and the same time is needed to initialize the version '000'. If you have hugh data volume please use Plant as selection criteria (at least)
