Custom segment field lenght limit

HI

I have a custom segment with the field length char 255, however when I go to we02 to see the idoc, I can not see the full content of that field. Is there any limit on the field length? Is there a loss of information ?

    Hi!

    It supposed to be ok.

    There's an option to see wider fields in WE02, just do the followings:

    - run WE02 and start the selection

    - double click on the IDoc

    - expand the data records section, here you'll see the segments

    - at the left side of every segments there's a small icon, it looks like a paper

    - doubleclick on this small paper icon to see the details of the segment

    I don't know, all of the 255 chars will appear here or not, because we don't have so wide fields.

    It works also in WE02, WE09, and BD87.

    The other way is to debug the IDoc processor, and export to excel the internal table from debugger.
