Hi,
I have multiple company users in my ESS portal, some users have their Id's starting with 10**, others 90**
its depend on their company, problem we are facing is that employees with user id's starting with 10*** are able to select
their approval for leave application whereas users with 90*** not able to select their approvals, when they enter 90*** (they manager) nothing is displaying in the list, can anyone help me out to solve this issue.

Generally The Employee Get his approver automatically depending on The organisation structure used for particular organisation.
According to the org structure work flow will be defined..
so check the org structure in pp01 with your HR consultant and if erything is defined thr check with workflow once.

This should be a configuration change.
Look at the following two places in IMG - Personnel Management - Employee Self Service - Service-Specific Settings - Working Time - Leave Request - Processing Processes
1. Define Processing Processes for each rule group
In this adjust the value for "Determine Next Agent" as per your needs.
2. Specify Processing Processes for types of leave
Select Define Absences/Processing Processes
Select the type of leave
In this adjust the value for User Interface Elements - Display field for next agent - Requester may change next agent
