Why Header condition does not have access sequence?
What will happen if the header condition have Access Sequence?
Please explain with an example.

hi
Header condition value will apllicable to all items(applicable to whole document)
Access sequence is a searching strategy in sap based on different combination of fields.
In the item level only , System can search for the combination what we are assigning.
In the header level , It is common for all the items .
Check OSS note - 17217 for explaination on this phenomenon of access sequence for Header condition

Hi,
Access sequence is search criterial to find the Relevant CONDITION RECORD for a condition type.
Since there were no condition records maintained for the Header condition you cant tag an access sequence to the Header condition
And also HEADE conditions will apply for the whole items in the documents and have to maintained manually
So condition records are not required for them.
Let say an example,
if the Header condition HA00 is maintained manually for the order as 10% discount. The 10 % discount will be applicable for all the item in the sales order
Basically there are two Header coondition calculations,
One based on the Percentage and another on the fixed amount.
Both should be maintained manually to reflect and impact for the whole documents
What will happen if the header condition have Access Sequence
and also if you try to enter the Access sequence for the Header condition system will not allow you, this was restricted programatically for header conditions
Hope this clarifies you
Please revert if you need more details

santosh
