calculating YTD AVG and QTD AVG

Hi All,

I am trying to crate custom measure formula for calculating YTD AVG and QTD AVG in BPC 7.0 NW any help

    Hi,

    Have you looked at the custom measure formula how-to guides? If so, you'll know that you need to create a formula using MDX. I recommend you give it a try based on the guide and then come back with any specific problems you are having.

    If you are asking whether this is possible, then yes, it is theoretically possible. But you haven't given any information about your time dimension, your application, or what the formula to calculate your average would look like (average based on what? Days, weeks, months?), so it is hard to say if what you want is possible in your context.
