SAP for beginnerrs

Hello,

I am an electrical engineer with over 4 years of work experience in CAD/CAM and related Product Data Management(WINDCHILL) and Project Management arena and proficient in various CAD softwares like Pro-Engineer Wildfire 3.0/4.0. I have complete understanding of change management processes like ECR/ECN etc in windchill. I am planning to get into SAP. I do not know from where to start. Can anyone suggest which SAP module is beneficial for me ?

Thanks,

Prateek

    Dear Prateek,

Not exactly sure which would be the most suitable module for you as your experience is mostly in CAD/CAM, (I am not much aware about the same and don't want to misguide)

In the mean time till some experts get back to you on this thread please go through below thread and the Blogs by Otto Gold who is very respected Mentor on SCN.(I consider that in SAP world you will start as fresher so referring you to below link/blogs)
