Anyone know if this is possible ?
I keep getting 'no analyis log' exists
yet can see the analysis when in change mode
is this an authorisation issue ? - or setting somewhere in config settings that doesnt allow it to be seen in Display mode
Thanks for your help and advice
Tony
Hi Tony,
This is the standard behaviour. In display mode, no changes to the document are triggered. This means, there is no change to the document triggered in the backend.
In change mode, there are some programs which are triggered to enable you to make changes. Thats why the determination analysis and pricing update functionalities are available in change mode. Based on the analysis, you can change the master data and do a repricing or redetermination. Because of these reasons, it is possible to do a determination analysis in change mode, but the same cannot be done in display mode.

It looks from SAP release 5.0 this has been corrected.
If the system is before release, then you may be interested in OSS Note 361130 - Incorrect display of the output determination log and allied notes in it.

Hello Tony
This is standard behavior.
When you go in change mode, system carries out Output Determination and hence you have an analysis log to see.
This log is however transient and not stored for displaying when you see the order again in display mode.
This is not due to missing Authorization or config.
Hope this helps.
